Good uploads print sharp. Two minutes of setup makes a visible difference.
Photo basics
Face the light — a window works best. Avoid direct overhead light and harsh shadows.
Plain background, shoulders visible, head centred and filling roughly the top two thirds of the frame.
No sunglasses, hats or heavy filters; they wash out when printed small.
File requirements
JPG or PNG, up to 15 MB. Aim for at least 1000 px on the short edge.
Screenshots of screenshots and heavily compressed social media downloads print blurry.
Signature
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, then photograph or scan it straight on in good light. Crop close to the signature.
A signature drawn on a phone screen and exported as PNG also works well.
What we will not print
Government or state ID layouts, seals, holograms, barcodes, licence numbers, dates of birth or any design intended to imitate official identification. Cards are novelty keepsakes only.
